Jamshedpur : Karim City College launched its intranet facility Rouzan.

General secretary of the college Rafi Shaikh and principal Mohammad Zakaria inaugurated the facility at the reading room, where 18 computers have been installed.

“Students and teachers can interact with each other online. They can now download notes for the classes they have missed and can upload theirs if they have something valuable to share,” said principal Zakaria.

The intranet service will let them download study material uploaded by the teachers, access college calendars, event manuals, syllabi, routines and much more.

By creating a log in ID and a password, the students can also upload their study material in PDF, jpeg and doc formats with consent from the administration.

Each department and class will be given time slots to use the facility, he added.
