Karim City College CA, IT depts welcome fresh batch

Jamshedpur, August 2: The Computer Application (CA) and Information Technology (IT) departments of Karim City College (KCC) welcomed the batch of new session 2023-’27. The newly enrolled students for the CA and IT departments and their parents were present on the occasion.

 Of the CAZ and IT departments, Dr Anwar Shahab introduced the teaching and non-teaching staff and advised the students to curb the time they spent on the social media platforms and instead, to expand the domain of their educational pursuit.  

Assistant Professor Kanchan Bala from the Information Technology department explained the BCA and BScIT curriculum structure. Assistant Professor Noorus Saba from the Computer Application department discussed the achievements and activities of the departments.

Examination Controller Dr BN Tripathi shared information regarding NEET 2020, examinations, and registration. Principal Dr Mohammad Riaz welcomed the students and provided detailed information about NEET 2020, Digital Locker, student facilities, various platforms at the college, and job placement activities.

The program was conducted by Assistant Professor Ratna Pandey from the Information Technology department, and Mohammad Asgar Ali, Assistant Professor of the Computer Application department, offered the vote of thanks. Among those present on the occasion included Dr S M Yahiya Ibrahim, Dr Kauser Tasneem, Prof Dr G Vijayalakshmi, Prof Ghazala Ruhi, Shibu Ram Bera, and Preeti Singh. Sheikh Munirul Islam, Samuelullah, and others helped in organizing the welcome programme.
