Chaibasa : Corona vaccination was inaugurated at two places in West Singhbhum district, Sadar Hospital, Chaibasa and Sub-Divisional Hospital, Chakradharpur. During the commencement of vaccination, Sadar Hospital, Chaibasa, District Deputy Commissioner Arwa Rajkamal and Subdivision Hospital, Chakradharpur, Podahat-Chakradharpur Sub-Divisional Officer Ajit Sinha (IPS) were present and the first vaccine at both the centers, respectively, Karan Mukhi and ANM Anita Mahto respectively.
On the first day of vaccination, those who took the vaccine were mainly civil surgeon Dr. Om Prakash Gupta, Sadar Block Medical Officer Dr. Jagannath Hembram, District Surveillance Officer Dr. Sanjay Kujur, personal physician Dr. Mundra and health workers.
After the inauguration of the vaccination, the Deputy Commissioner said that today the biggest vaccination campaign has been launched in the whole world and today 100-100 health workers like doctors, nurses, cleaning workers can be vaccinated at both vaccination centers in the district. And in the same way a total of 7,502 persons registered on the Covin portal in the district will be vaccinated.
The Deputy Commissioner said that today the first dose of vaccine is being given to the people and similarly after 28 days the second dose of vaccine will be given again.
