Kalia Mukhi elected Mukhiya unopposed

Jamshedpur: Kalia Mukhi emerged unopposed as the Mukhiya of the Mukhi Samaj. The election was held at the Burmamines Harijan Basti. Kalia�s tenure will be of three years as per norms. Hundreds of men and women of the area were present during the election.

Mukhi Samaj leader Khema Ram, Hari Mukhi and Bhaskar Mukhi were the election officials. Kalia Mukhi was elected uncontested for the Mukhiya�s seat. The winner was profusely garlanded by the election officials and the members of the Samaj. A victory procession was taken out to celebrate Kalia�s victory.

Mukhi Samaj people from Bhalubasa were also present on the occasion. They included Poresh Mukhi, Niranjan Mukhi, Makru Mukhi, Asish Mukhi, Mahesh Mukhi, Shibu Mukhi, Devdas Mukhi, Ranjit Mukhi, Pradip Mukhi, Sunil Mukhi Dev, Badal Mukhi and Dipu Mukhi.
