Kale demands Sardar Patel�s statue in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov. 1: BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale on Sunday demanded that the district administration should build a grand statue of Sardar Patel.

The Gujarat government has built 182-meter tall statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel at a small island near the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada River. The statue is named as ‘Statue of Unity’, he pointed out.

“Sardar Patel was the one who built this nation and brought everyone together. We demand that a large statue of Patel should also be built in Jamshedpur too,� he said, adding, �Sardar Patel was not just Patel or Gujarati.

He was a true Indian who worked for the upliftment of the poor. He was the one who brought everyone together. �
