Jamshedpur, Feb. 12:� As part of 72nd Saastha Preeti celebrations, the pujas at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple started with maha Ganapati havan on Wednesday, February 12. Later on PN Sankaran, under the guidance of Vijaya Bhanu, the chief priest installed Kalash amidst the chanting of sacred hymns.�
After this Ved Pandits conducted Purana Purusha havan, followed by puja and also performed Purusha Sookta havan. After completing the havan and pujas, they organized Purnahuti, Vasordhara by pouring ghee continuously in the havan kund.� The Ved Pandits also performed Abhishek for Lord Ganesh, Lord Karthik and Lord Dharma Saastha.� When maha arati was shown to all the deities, the committee members of the Temple distributed prasad to hundreds of devotees.
In the evening bhajan program was organized in which famous bhajan singer from Chennai performed which was attended by hundreds of devotees. Women members of the Temple sang Narayaneeyam in the afternoon.
