Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has ordered a probe into the recognition and affiliation status of Kabir Memorial Inter College being run in Dhatkidih. The Secretary of JAC Rajnikant Verma has written to East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar directing him to get the probe done.
A three member team led by the District Education Officer has been set up to conduct the probe, sources said.
The team would inquire about the availability and status of college infrastructure including the land on which it is currently situated, academic qualification of the teaching staff and compliance with other norms for running the college.
