Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha activists will be organizing a Mahadharna at the gate of Tata Motors on 7th October to demand a solution to the problems of workers of the company.
This was announced today by Abhay Singh, central secretary of the party.
The JVM leader said the party had decided to go on agitation in favour of several demands related to the welfare and rights of around 15,000 workers across the city. The workers are forced to work without canteen and medical facilities apart from several other facilities, he said.
A large number of party workers will be participating in the agitation. JVM leaders have appealed to workers and other organizations to support the cause of the workers by attending the Mahadharna.
“There are many employees who gave their services for 35 to 40 years and are now helpless after retirement. Such employees should once again be given medical facilities,” said Singh.
