Jamshedpur, Sept 6: JVM Yuva Morcha Golmuri unit members staged a demonstration before Golmuri police station to demand removal of names of party leader Mohit Gupta, his brother Rohit gupta and their other aides from a case registered against them.
Leading the protestors, Sumit Srivastava, district JVM Yuva Morcha president said the police should conduct a fair probe into the allegations of assault and violence against the Gupta brothers and their companions so that the truth comes out in the open.
Srivastava gave a three day ultimatum to the police after which the party would launch a massive agitation. He said the JVM stood with Mohit Gupta, president of JVM Yuva Morcha Golmuri unit.
Other protestors included Loknath Tripathy, Sumit Sharma, Niranjan Jha, Samar Jha, Sourabh Chakravarty and Dev Bhandari.
