Jamshedpur, Jan 7: Demanding full proof security to the residents, crime checking and special drives to control offense in the city, members of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) headed by leader Abhay Singh today met Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar.
Singh alleged that the city police had failed miserably to control crime and if police officials don�t take severe action against the culprits we will be forced to shut down Jamshedpur on January 20.
Singh said there was a spurt in murder and other crimes like theft and loot in the city in the recent past. Keeping the poor law and order situation in mind, the MP of Jamshedpur Dr Ajay Kumar has decided not to keep bodyguards with him, he said.
