Ranchi: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) has decided to field candidates on all 14 Lok Sabha seats and 81 Assembly seats in the state. The central working committee of the party passed a resolution to this effect in the state Capital.
The party has also given indications that it may enter an alliance with the Aam Admi Party. The party meeting was presided over by the party president Babulal Marandi.
Marandi alleged that the state government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren had not taken any major development steps during his tenure so far.
He alleged that the ministers and MLAs were busy lining their pockets. He said the law and order situation had deteriorated over the last few months. He said a fast track court should be set up especially to hear cases of rape.
