Gamharia: Kandra police arrested a Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) leader Sokhen Hembram on charges of making a Tata Steel official captive and beating him up.
The arrest was made on Saturday from the Gamharia block office premises.
The accused had allegedly made the Tata Steel official captive on 29th January last when he and other officials had gone to the Salampathar village for conducting a survey for the proposed airport going to be built in the village.
