Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Abhay Singh today demanded that the district police should ensure intensive anti-crime checking and special drives to control crime in the city.
He alleged that the city police had failed miserably to control crime. He said there was a spurt in murder and other crimes like theft and loot in the city in the recent past.
Keeping the poor law and order situation in mind, the MP of Jamshedpur Dr Ajay Kumar has decided not to keep bodyguards with him, he said.
