Jamshedpur, Jan. 28: A delegation of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha delegation met East Singhbhum senior SP and submitted a memorandum related to terrorism and recent arrest of suspected terror links from different parts of the steel city.
Party district spokesperson Nitesh Mittal said that people here are scared following the arrest of some people with links with Al-Qaeda. However, on the pretext of interrogation, some innocent persons were being harassed, he alleged, adding that the administration must take steps to ensure that such persons are not targeted.
Dharmendra Prasad, Ajit Singh, Sunil Singh, Anupam Sinha, Chandra Shekhar Rao, Baldev Singh, Vikas Jaiswal, Rina Chowdhury, and Animesh Singh participated in the delegation.
