Jamshedpur: Bistupur police on Saturday dispersed a gathering of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha members at Jubilee Park where the party activists were holding a meeting to discuss election preparations.
DSP Jacintha Kerketta and other police officials reached the spot on information that the JVM members were violating Model Code of Conduct by holding meeting without permission of the district administration.
Cops said a case would be lodged against the JVM leaders.
