Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(JVM) activists staged dharna before Uliyan power substation at Kadma on Saturday to demand replacement of dilapidated electric wires and poles and installation of new transformers in the place of old ones in Sonari, Kadma and Bistupur.
Various units of JVM staged dharna at different offices of Jharkhand State Electricity Board to demand measures to improve electricity supply and prevent power cuts and load shedding.
The agitators included Sunil Singh, DN Singh, Dharmendra Prasad, Anup Lal Sharma, Shravan Das, Shiva Pandey, Dayanand, Nasar Firdausi and Amit Champia.
