In power sector
Jamshedpur : JUSCO, 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel, bagged the national meritorious performance awards in power sector instituted by Ministry of Power Government of India for the year 2012-13 for distribution companies.
The award was presented by Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Ministry of State for Power and received by Sharad Kumar, general manager (PSD) and V P Singh, deputy general manager (PSD), JUSCO, at a function held in New Delhi.
National Awards to power utilities for meritorious performance have been instituted by the Ministry of Power to inculcate competitive spirit and motivation to achieve high levels
of performance.
JUSCO won the Gold Shield Award from the Ministry of Power, Government of India, in recognition of Outstanding Performance of Distribution Companies.
The National Awards for meritorious Performance in Power Sector awarded this prestigious
honor to JUSCO for their stupendous performance in the year 2011-12.
