Jamshedpur, Dec. 1: Shopkeepers at the Mango Dimna road under Jamshedpur West Assembly area were troubled due to the mangy condition of the sewer flowing between Brijwasi Misthan Bhandar and Heera Hotel.
They suffered the worst when during the monsoon when dirty water from the sewer entered their shops and they had to suffer loss as the goods kept in the shops got damaged.
Seeing the situation getting troubled, shopkeepers informed about the matter to local MLA and minister Saryu Rai who raised the issue in front of Jusco and ordered the company management to find the solution.
Jusco on Thursday December 1 started repairing work of the sewer. Present on the occasion were MLA representative Chitranjan Verma, Rajesh Sao, Ashutosh Rai, Vijay Singh, Nityanand Sinha, Sanjay Singh, Santosh Chouhan, Vijendra Singh, Raja Singh, Nilkamal Shekhar, Kanhaiya Ojha, Vinay Singh, Ashok Gaud, Abhishek Pandey, Santosh Bhagat, Vijay Ojha, Sushil Sharma, Durga Dutta, Sunil Gorai, Ras Bihari Pandey, Pyarelal Shahi and others.
