Jusco School South Park wins prestigious ISA Award

Jamshedpur, July 12: Steel City School’s have proved their mettle once again. Three Jamshedpur School’s have bagged the prestigious British Council’s International School Award (ISA).

Jusco School South Park, Jusco School Kadma and Baug-E-Jamshed received the award for the first time at an event held at New Delhi on July 8. Principal of Jusco School South Park Sobhna Dey and Project Coordinator & Vice-Principal Mili Sinha received the award.

The award will be valid till 2018. A total of 252 schools from all over the country applied and participated in the competition for the prestigious award.

Two CBSE Schools Jusco School South Park and Kadma run by JEM Foundation vied for the award. After applying for the award schools whole year round organized activities were students made several projects.

The projects were later sent to British Council who approved three schools from Jamshedpur.

A representative from UK awarded the three schools at the event.

Talking about the achievement, Shobhna Dey, Principal of Jusco South Park said that said, “We prepared three projects for this award, students made projects on monuments, currency of different countries, Sports, Herbal Plants, Jamshedpur visit, Indian Festivals and cuisines.
