Jamshedpur, May 7: Skill development is the area which National Education Policy is focusing on and it is the essential part of personality development. Keeping this in view, Jusco School South Park started skill development classes for the middle school students of Std 6-8 from Saturday. The Skill courses taken up include- Financial Literacy, Data Science, Travel and Tourism and What to do when the Doctor is not around.
The skill modules were focused to make the students update about the upcoming needs of 21st Century. The teaching methodology included a mix of both -key theory concepts as well as activities to enhance the skills .
The skill facilitators and teachers who played an important role in this implementation included Uday Choudhary, Supriya Paul, Aakansha, Sarojini Banra, Gurpreet Singh,Anjani Sah , Amit Sen , Maninder Singh, Bandana Singh, Annu Singh, Amita Jha and Neha Parveen.
School Principal Mili Sinha congratulated the entire team for beginning the implementation of this Skill Curriculum in Middle School .
It is worth mentioning that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced various skill modules for students of classes VI to VIII.
