Jamshedpur, April 22: Earth Day was celebrated at Jusco School, Kadma with enthusiasm under the theme “Our Planet, Our Power.” The programme began with a special assembly featuring a prayer, pledge, news bulletin, thought for the day, safety tips, and a speech highlighting the importance of protecting the planet.
Students participated in an awareness rally carrying placards with messages on conservation. Saplings were also distributed to nearby schools, including DBMS Kadma, Baldwin School, Farm Area, and KPS Kadma, promoting sustainability.
An eco-themed ramp walk held at Kudy Mahanty Auditorium showcased creative, environment-friendly ideas through student presentations. In addition, class-wise co-curricular activities from LKG to Class 10 were organised, engaging students in meaningful ways.
The event aimed to create awareness and encourage students to adopt simple, responsible practices for protecting the environment.
