Jamshedpur, Feb 6: JUSCO School, Kadma, organized its 19th Annual Hindi Elocution Competition on February 6, 2025, for students from LKG to Std. VIII. Centred around the theme “Veer Gatha,” the event witnessed enthusiastic participation, showcasing students’ confidence, memory and oratory skills.
The competition featured both choral and individual recitations, with young speakers captivating the audience with their eloquence. Parents of the contestants graced the occasion, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi commended the students and teachers for their dedication. “Elocution fosters confidence and public speaking skills and I am proud of the brilliant performances today,” she remarked.
In the choral recitation category, UKG C, Std. I B, Std. IV A, Std. VI B and Std. VIII C emerged victorious across different groups. In individual recitation, top honours went to Harman (UKG A), Ayesha (Std. II C), Md. Yafi (Std. III C), Rudransh (Std. VI A) and Jitendra (Std. VIII A).
Judges praised the students’ articulation and stage presence, while Hindi teachers infused creativity into the performances. The event was successfully coordinated by HODs Shaziya Quadir (Senior Wing) and Rashmi Sharma (Junior Wing), along with the Hindi department faculty, under the guidance of Principal Jhumjhumi Nandi and Vice Principal Anindita Roy.
The competition concluded on a high note, inspiring students to embrace the art of public speaking with passion and confidence.
