Jusco School Kadma aims to improve FLN skills in students

Jamshedpur, Sept 10: In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Foundation Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) program has been strategically crafted to cultivate fundamental skills in reading, writing, and mathematics at the primary level. On Saturday, JUSCO School Kadma took a significant step by organizing an exhibition aimed at introducing and unveiling the FLN program in the Primary Block of the school. The school aims to improve FLN skills in students.

The exhibition was exclusively designed for parents of students ranging from LKG to Grade II. Its primary objective was to familiarize parents with the Teaching-Learning and Assessment processes integral to FLN.

The FLN program is activity-based and seeks to equip students with a diverse skill set that includes reading comprehension, fluent communication, basic mathematical proficiency, critical thinking, knowledge in health and hygiene, computer literacy, and scientific acumen. In addition to these academic pursuits, the program is structured to enhance students’ cognitive, psychomotor, and social skills.

JUSCO School Kadma’s initiative to unveil the FLN program through this exhibition underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering holistic education and ensuring that students receive a well-rounded foundation in essential skills, aligning with the NEP 2020 objectives.
