Jusco plants 100 Ashoka tree saplings at Loyola School ground

Jamshedpur, Aug. 22: In continuation with the Environment conservation month celebration, Jusco organized a tree plantation drive at Loyola School Ground on Monday, August 22.

Father Sebastian Puthenpura, Principal, Loyola School along with Ashish Mathur, managing director, Jusco participated in the drive. Also present were Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, Sr GM (JTO), Jusco, Arun Vidyut, Chief Divisional Manager (PHS), Dr Manoj Biswal, Dy Chief Manager (HS), Staffs of PHS, teachers and students from Loyola School.

The plantation drive began with Father Sebastian and Ashish Mathur planting saplings followed by all the staffs, teachers and students present at the venue.

During the drive 100 nos. of Drooping Ashoka (Polyalthia Longifolia) sapling of 10 feet height were planted around the ground.

These species help in reducing noise and air pollution and in turn help the school in maintaining the air quality for the benefit of the students.
