Jugsalai: Notices sent to 200 holding tax defaulters

Jamshedpur: Jugsalai Municipality has issued notices to over 100 residents for not depositing holding and water tax. Special Officer Surendra Prasad said a deadline of 31st December has been set for the defaulters. The pending taxes are to be paid online.
City Manager Rajnish Lal said those willing to get trade licence issued by the Municipality have been asked to do so by or before 31st December. All household owners have been asked to get themselves registered online to avail piped water supply, he said.
Lal said a campaign would be launched in the second week of January next year to check trade licences in the municipal area. Fines would be imposed on defaulters, he said.
