Jugsalai civic body prepares for Swachhata survey

Jamshedpur, Jan 10: Jugsalai Nagar Parishad executive officer J. P Yadav on Sunday told that citizen feedback as part of Swachh Survekshan 2021 for Jugsalai area have started coming as this would be crucial for the civic body ranking as it accounts for 600 marks.

Incidentally, in the 2020 Swachh Survekshan Jugsalai was ranked ninth in the civic bodies between 25,000 and 50,000 population category in the east zone section.

The Jugsalai Nagar Parishad is determined to further improve its ranking and started preparation for this year’s survey.

The time period for citizen’s feedback is between January 1, 2021 and March 31, 2021. The civic body also organised a workshop  to create awareness about citizen’s feedback among residents and how they can give their feedbacks using smartphone. A quiz competition was also organised on waste management.
