JSCA condoles death of former Ranji Player Baldev Gossain

Jamshedpur, Jan. 15: A condolence meeting was held at the JSCA Stadium Complex, Ranchi on Tuesday afternoon on account of the sad demise of former Ranji Player, Baldev Gossain.

Baldev Gossain was a middle order batsman who played for Bihar for more than 8 years. In total he played 37 matches in which he scored 1848 runs. His best score was 198. He has four centuries and nine half centuries to his credit .He played for east Zone in Duleep and Deodhar trophy as well as for Tata Steel in All India Inter Steel Plants Cricket.

He hailed from Delhi and was employed with Tata Steel.

Ajay Nath Shahdeo, Vice President (JSCA), expressing grief, called it a loss to the cricket fraternity. Also present at the condolence meeting were Chanchal Bhattacharya, Suresh Kumar, Kishore Chandra, Manoj Kumar and others. Baldev Gossain shall always be remembered for his contribution to the world of Cricket.
