Jamshedpur, Nov 15: Twenty five students from Jamshedpur Public School participated in the CBSE Cluster I & II Athletics Meet organised by DAV Rajrappa CCL at Ramgarh from 7th to 9th November 2014.
Around 700 Participant from 72 schools belonging to 11 different states of India participated in this meet. At the event Ankita Singh Vats of class 11 won the Silver medal in Shot Put, Ankita Singh Vats won Silver Medal in Discuss Throw while Aman Rana of class Std IX won the 5th Place in 5000mt.
Ankita Singh Vats of Jamshedpur Public School qualified in 2events (Shot Put & Discuss Throw) and will be participating in the CBSE National Athletics Meet to be held at Gujrat in January 2015.
She is the only student from Jamshedpur to win medals in the Cluster I & II Athletics Meet.
