Jamshedpur, Oct. 18: Class 11 students of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) with support of teacher Kumar Amlendu and a few other teachers of the school, painted the speed breakers in front of the school so that it would enhance smooth traffic movement and help students remain safe after the dismissal near the school gate.
This activity helped the students to understand their responsibility towards community as well as it was a fun activity for the entire class.While one group cleaned the road before painting another group marked the lines and the third group painted the speed breakers.A group of students volunteered to divert the traffic while this exercise was going on.
Students seemed satisfied with the work that they did for the community as part of their assignment for’Work Experience’.
Work Experience is an important part of the curriculum for students of class 11 and 12 in CBSE schools,for which the students are assigned internal grades.The teachers plan out various useful activities /projects for the students.
The students are looking forward to their next assignment in Work Experience planned by the teachers.
