Jamshedpur : The students of the Interact Club of Jamshedpur Public School(JPS) also did their bit towards the cleanliness drive initiated by our Prime Minister.
A large group of Students from Std XI & XII went to the Bustee area and residential areas in Baridih ,armed with brooms & sacks for cleaning up the litter.
They pledged to conduct such activities frequently so that it would motivate others to do the same.The students were accompanied by Teacher Punam, Teacher Subhranshu & teacher Umakant Shukla.
The students are eager to shoulder their responsibility of keepingtheir surroundings clean and transforming India into a place that Mahatma Gandhi had aspired for .
They also hope that this effort would inspire the residents to join hands to contribute towards a ‘Swachh’ Jamshedpur.
