JPS students display social responsibility

Jamshedpur: The students of Jamshedpur Public School(JPS) had unique experience on 15th August this year as they celebrated Independence Day with children from Excel India Model School . This year the school invited the students of Excel India Model School, a Bustee school in Baridih.

The chief guest for the occasion was Dr Indu Chauhan. The children were thrilled to visit a �Big� school and they also got an opportunity to participate in the March Past along with the students of Jamshedpur Public School. Later they enjoyed a cultural programme which reinforced the patriotic fervour among the students.

The programme included a dance by the students of std VII to the tune of the song �Jahaan daal daal par sone ki chidiya……..�, followed by a patriotic song.

Satyam of Std III gave a forceful speech which was appreciated by all. The students of JPS shared sweets refreshments and books with the children of Excel India Model School.

The programme was organised by Emerald House of Jamshedpur Public School The students realised their social responsibility towards their lesser privileged friends who are eager to learn and have a thirst for knowledge.

The students of Jamshedpur Public School were happy to share the �Gift of Knowledge & experienced the Joy of Sharing�. The programme ended with the National Song �Saare Jahan se Accha…�
