JPS plays host to neighbourhood kids on Children’s Day

Jamshedpur: The pupils of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) celebrated Children’s day with the kids of a nearby slum adopted by the NGO People for Change. The students and teachers of the basti school were invited to Jamshedpur Public School by the Interact Club of JPS. They arrived in their brightly coloured ‘School on Wheels’ bus. They were in for a pleasant surprise as the students of JPS had planned an entertainment programme for them which included songs , dance and a skit by the Interactors. The guest children also got an opportunity to showcase their skills on stage. They were given refreshments and gifts. “After spending a fruitful and enjoyable day at Jamshedpur Public School, the little kids were sad to say goodbye and left with the promise that they would continue to study and also expressed their desire to visit the school again,” said the organizers.
The Interact club students who looked after the guest kids were students of Std X-XII Aman anand, Aman Kumar, Ayush, Prakash, Jessica, Vishal, Sneha, Prattusha, Vivek , Ranveer, Naveen, Kamal and others accompanied by the Interact Club moderator Dr Punam Kumari, teacher Sasmita, teacher Anshu , Bhagirathi and others.
