JPS girl wins 2 gold medals at CBSE athletics championship

Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Jamshedpur Public School students Vidhi Rawal has made his school and district proud by winning 2 gold medals in 100 m and 200 m race at the CBSE cluster III athletics championship was held at Sri Guru Nanak Public School, Ramgarh from 30th Sept to 2nd Oct 2018.


She won several other accolades including the best athlete in the Under 19 category and has now qualified for the National Athletics Championship to be held at Karnataka from 12th to 14th Nov 2018.
She had also been awarded the best athlete in Under 15 girls as well as the overall Champion in the CBSE Cluster II & III athletics championship held at Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur.
Vidhi returned from Ramgarh on Wednesday and was felicitated by the school management. ‘Vidhi’s dream is to run for India one day and with her dedication and determination she definitely will, we are proud of her’, said Namita Agarwal, Principal, Jamshedpur Public School
