Jamshedpur: Annual prize night of primary block of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) was held on Tuesday.
Srimanti Sen graced the occasion as chief guest while Vandana Mathur was the guest of honour. The chief guest praised the students for excelling in academics and other activities.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, other guests and the principal Namita Agarwal. The students from Nursery to standard V received prizes for their achievement in academics and other activities.
The most awaited prize for the evening, the Award for the Best All Rounder Student of the Primary Block was given to Arnabh Arya of standard IV B.
The award ceremony was followed by a cultural programme presented by the students. The most colourful performance, apart from the African and Indian dance, was �Unity in Diversity� put up by the KG students. The school song was sung by students and teachers.
