Jamshedpur, Sept. 15: Saurav Acharya, a class 9 student of Jamshedpur Public School has been awarded the 1st Prize for Poster Making at the Regional Conference on Waste Disposal & Management organised by the East Zone of the National Green Tribunal & the Dept of Environment & Forest, Government of Assam.
The event was held at Guwahati on 9th & 10th September 2017. Saurav returned to Jamshedpur on 12th September.
He had earlier participated in the state level competition organised by the Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board and was thus selected for the regional level competition where he won the first prize. Saurav has been constantly guided by the art teacher at JPS, Debjit Paul.
