Jamshedpur, May 25: Along with other schools of the city, Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) students fared well in the CBSE class 12 results which were declared on Monday afternoon.
Akash Kumar Dutta and Shreya Srivastava were declared the joint school topper with 95 per cent marks in science.
Rohit Mukherjee came a close second with 94.8 per cent while Rahul Das and Manish Kumar were joint third with 94.6 % marks.
In Bio-Science Barnali Paul was the topper with 91.8 percent marks followed by Anamika Choudhary 90.6 and Yshika scored 89.8 %.
In Commerce Ankit Poddar was the topper with 96 %, Tithi Kumari was second with 95 % while Roopsha Bhowmick was declared third with 93 per cent marks.
Principal of the School Namita Agarwal seemed pleased with the result terming it exceptionally good result this year, she said that students have fared very well and the overall performance of the school has also improved.
She also wished students luck for their future endeavours. Total no of students appeared in the school were 153 which recorded 100 per cent result.
15% of the total no. of students scored an average of 90% and above while 42% of the total no. of students scored an average of 80% and above.
