Joyous celebration of Mother’s Day at Sheyn International School

Jamshedpur: Sheyn International School celebrated Mother’s Day with great warmth, joy, and gratitude, creating a memorable occasion dedicated to the unconditional love and sacrifices of mothers. The school welcomed mothers with traditional rituals that reflected respect, affection, and appreciation.

The celebration commenced with a ceremonial lamp-lighting, setting a graceful tone for the event. Students and teachers presented a series of colourful cultural performances, including songs and dances, paying heartfelt tribute to the invaluable role mothers play in shaping families and society.

The highlight of the programme was the exciting ramp walk, where mothers and children walked together with confidence and enthusiasm, drawing loud applause from the audience. Another major attraction was the “Super Chef” Cook Without Fire competition, where mothers showcased their creativity and culinary skills through innovative dishes.

Ankana Banerjee was declared the winner of the Ramp Walk competition and was honoured with the title of “Super Mom” of the day. The winner of the Cook Without Fire contest was also felicitated for her outstanding presentation and creativity.

Principal (Academics) Tandrima Banerjee, Principal (Administration) Dr. Keya Adak, and Headmistress Simran Saggu addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of motherhood in nurturing values and shaping future generations.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Laiba of Std VI-A. Teachers, students, mothers, and school staff were present on the occasion, making the event a memorable celebration of love, bonding, and togetherness.
