Jamshedpur, June 6: A one-day employment fair was organized by the district administration on Tuesday at the Lower Regional Planning Office, Golmuri. A crowd of youths thronged to register and interview in the employment fair.
In this regard, planning officer Bam Baiju told that a total of six companies have participated in the employment fair. This includes Tata Motors, Stream Digital Service Essar House, Yuva Shakti Foundation, Talent Nexa Service Pvt Ltd, Steelnet Logistics Company and TK Construction and Service Pvt Ltd, among others.
He told that in the employment fair, a total of 600 candidates have enrolled themselves.
A total of 1365 candidates will be selected by the companies on various posts in the fair. The official said that matriculation pass graduate and diploma pass candidates can participate in this job fair. The planning officer said that soon a mega placement drive will be organized for the students of the IIT training centers running in the entire district, while a divisional level mega employment fair will be organized.
