compensation to kin of terrorist attack victim pending at home secretary level: DC

Chaibasa, July 17: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shantanu Kumar Agrhori chaired a meeting of dependent of victim�s who died in terrorist attack regarding compensation and Job with the concern district officers at district collectorate on Saturday.

Reviewing the situation of 9 terrorist victim cases , DC found that Prima facie benefit was already given to the family members of the victim of the terrorist attack and other benefits� recommendation was already forwarded to home secretary to provide with Job and compensation in consideration of age and education to the dependent .

According to the DC office the decisions are pending in home secretary level .

All these terrorist victim cases belonged to Noamundi and Bandgaon blocks. Present at the meeting was ADC Jay Kishore Prasad , Sadar SDO Rakesh Dubey , Civil Surgeon Urgesh Ram and other administration officers.
