JNAC to develop Bara Ghat as model Chhath ghat

Jamshedpur: Several teams of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) are working day and night to keep the various Chhath ghats in the city clean. The special officer of JNAC Sanjay Kumar said the Bara Ghat at Babudih is being decorated as a model Chhath ghat this year. He said the JNAC team members have been directed to ensure basic civic amenities at the Chhath ghat during the festival. There will be arrangements for illumination at the Chhath ghat besides barricades for crowd control, announcement centre, changing room among other facilities, Kumar said.
Kumar led a team of JNAC staff to inspect Babudih Chhath ghat on Saturday evening.
