Jamshedpur: Several teams of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee launched a drive against banned polythene bags in Burmamines and Sonari on Friday. Fines worth Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 were imposed on two traders. A trade licence inspection drive was also conducted on the occasion. The JNAC team included City Manager Sonal Singh, RK Mandal, Prakash Bhagat, Vinod Tiwary, VK Prasad and Krishna Ram. A fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed on one trader who could not show his trade licence.
