Jamshedpur: In a drive to ensure public safety, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) on Saturday conducted a special operation at Marine Drive, successfully capturing a stray bull roaming the area.
The animal was safely secured and subsequently transported to a designated gaushala in accordance with established regulations.
Officials confirmed that the entire operation was carried out in the presence of veterinary personnel, ensuring that the bull was handled with utmost care and sustained no injuries during the process.
Civic authorities stated that similar drives against stray cattle are being carried out regularly across different parts of the city to prevent accidents and safeguard residents. Livestock owners have been urged not to leave their animals unattended in public spaces, warning that violations will invite penalties and legal action as per municipal norms.
“Safe roads, safe citizens” remains the guiding commitment of the urban body, officials added.
