JNAC spreads message of cleanliness during Durga idol immersion in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Oct 16: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Tata Steel UISL had made special arrangements to ensure cleanliness at river ghats for pollution free immersion of Durga Puja idols.  Artificial water tanks were made by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee near Swarnrekha Gandhi Ghat at Pandey Ghat Bhuiyadih. A water tank was also made at Bhojpur Ghat, Domuhani Chhath Ghat, sand ghat. 

Taking the support of social organizations as well, during the idol immersion on the day of Dussehra, the worship materials coming from the houses and pandals were immersed the in the water tank, taking care of cleanliness

80 idols were immersed at the sand ghat, in which 12 volunteers of Swachhata Pukarey and local youths of the settlement also gave their full cooperation.

At Bhojpur Ghat, along with the supervisor, the worship materials from the local settlement were immersed in the water tank by the personnel.47 idols were immersed at Pandey Ghat and worship materials were immersed in the artificial water tank made by JNAC, 45 idols were also immersed in Domuhani.

All the major Ghats were marked in the river by JNAC to show the danger sign near the river.
