Jamshedpur, May 19: The Special Officer (SO) of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) Krishna Kumar today held a meeting with the officials of Tata Steel to discuss various issues related to basic civic amenities and public utilities in the city.
The Special Officer discussed about the preparedness of the city before the monsoon and stressed on cleaning of drains across the city. He also asked the officials to ensure maintenance of intake well related to Moharda water supply project, new connections in all areas, beautification drive from new bridge to Domuhani and construction of jogging track, widening of road for bus stand, creation of vending zones in Sakchi and Bistupur, laying of pavers block on the sides of roads, deputation of homeguards to strengthen enforcement teams and construction of boundary wall and gate around Aam Bagan, sources said.
The meeting was attended by Rajeev Kumar, Chief, Town Infrastructure and Logistics, Tata Steel, Pranay Sinha, Ravindra Kumar Singh, EIC, External Projects and Utility Billings, Amit Kumar Singh, Head, Land and Markets, and Sarita Kumari, Municipality Finance and Accounts Specialist, sources said.
