Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) is planning to carry out bandobasti (settlement) of Sakchi mini bus stand and various auto-rickshaw stops of the city very soon.
According to Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer, JNAC, the revenues earned from bandobasti would be used to provide public amenities and ensure welfare of various stakeholders. He said the bandobasti is likely to be carried out by September end this year. He said the JNAC would retain necessary control over auto-rickshaws and taxis and would also keep a database of commercial vehicles being used in city transport services.
