Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Special Officer Sanjay Kumar has ordered sealing of a multi-storied building in SB Shop Area, Bistupur, following its alleged deviation from the approved building design.
Sources said the Special Officer ordered the builder concerned to pay a fine of Rs 5 lakh for failing to comply with the municipal building norms. Besides imposing fine, the JNAC has also sealed the said building.
A joint team of City Managers and engineers of JNAC would be sealing the deviated part of the building within three days as per the order, sources said.
