Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) authorities discussed plans for the development of markets in Sakchi, Bistupur, Baridih and Golmuri on Monday. Representatives of Jharkhand Infrastructure Development Corporation and Judco were present on this occasion.
Sanjay Kumar, special officer of JNAC, said all these markets are to be developed on public private partnership mode. The markets will be developed in such a way as to have various facilities for customers including parking facility, toilets, drinking water and onsite composting plant, he said.
Kumar said shopping complex, recreational facilities and greenery will also be there in the developed markets. The proposed number of shops in Bistupur would be 1600, while in Golmuri, Baridih and Sakchi it would be 200, 960 and 1582, he said, adding that the detailed project report is yet to be prepared in this regard.
