Jamshedpur, May 31: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee continued cleaning various drains across the city here on Tuesday in its drive to unclog them ahead of the monsoon season.
JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar instructed various teams to clean the drains, both big and small, in different localities. Teams visited Laxminagar, Anand Nagar, Azad Basti and Jemco today. Teams of Tata Steel UISL carried out cleaning in Block No 5, Slag Road, Sitaramdera, CH Area, Ashiana Garden, Sonari, Vidyapati Nagar, ECC Flat and Gangotri Complex. A total of 10 drains were cleaned today. Sanitation Inspector P Kujur, Rajesh Sharma and Christina Kachchap were also present on the occasion.
