Jamshedpur, Feb 9: A meeting of union office-bearers was held at the Tata Motors Workers’ Union office to review preparations for the upcoming March 3 Founder’s Day programme.
The discussions focused on the unveiling of the statue of JN Tata and the proposed mega blood donation camp to be organised on the occasion.
After detailed deliberations, the preparations made so far were termed satisfactory.
Efforts are underway to motivate city residents and company employees to participate in the blood donation drive by spreading awareness through various channels.
The process of sending invitation letters to eminent personalities of the city will also commence shortly.
Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad and General Secretary R.K. Singh issued necessary guidelines and directions to ensure smooth and successful arrangements for the event.
Notably, this will be the first time that the statue of JN Tata is being unveiled within the union premises on March 3, prompting preparations to be carried out on a grand scale.
