JMM supports Pintu, accuse media of misrepresentation 

Ranchi, April 5: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has come out in support of Abhishek Pintu, the press advisor of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who is facing criticism for his alleged statement given before the ED in the land scam case.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has taken a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party, which was taunting Abhishek Pintu over his alleged anti-Hemant statement, and has accused it of misrepresentation.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has also targeted the media accusing it of misinterpreting the statement.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has given some arguments in support of Abhishek Pintu. JMM says that nowhere in Abhishek’s statement is it written that the land of Badgai area belongs to Hemant Soren. The Pahan people who are the owners of the land, who are the landholders, have said that the land is theirs.

Despite the case being pending, the media is spreading misleading facts related to the case which is unfair. JMM says that hundreds of applications for land disputes come to the Chief Minister’s Office every month. In such a situation, merely asking for verification of a land does not make the land belong to a chief minister.
